Happy Birthday to me!

This just showed up in the mail. My first AR!

Note: Took rear sight off to mount Elcan that showed up at the same time.

Initial impressions on the rifle:
-Trigger is really crisp.
-Fit and finish is great.
-Grip is really nice
-Stock is fairly good quality, a little bit of rattle, adjusts easy and snaps into position easy.
-Upper seems very heavy, I think mostly from the handguard.
-Mag well seems pretty toight when moving mags.

I don't really dig the weight of the front end. Not sure if I should replace the handguard and front sight/gas block or just get a different upper. The latter method will be much more costly... Ideas?

Too heavy IMO. Gun weights the same as my xcr. A little disappointed.

Happy belated birthday! Nice rig, what do you think of the Rock River Arms AR? I got the 10.5" pistol version and absolutely love it.

I have a RRA Varmint and the quality is great. Prob not on par with my LMT but still a very nice rifle.
