what is that knob at the center of the sight rail running laterally for BTW? One guy had one of these at a service shoot, and it looked great, especially for that price, but for the life of me, I could not figure out what that was for.

No... the Entry Tactical series are CAR length gas systems... the AR1239 series is a Mid-Length gas system A4 flat top with tactical 6 position stock and in this case RRA's new 1/2 Quad Rail option (mid-length free float handguard that is 1/2 a standard type quad rail but the inside 1/2 is a round type handguard for easier grip... really nice setup).

They are two different rifle series.

Can A4 RRA pistols accept the same accessories as AR15 universally? Also, can it be equipped with a standard AR15 collapsible or folding stock? If so, what would you recommend?
