Hey all,
My grandfather traded 2 cord of wood for 2 guns. One of which he gave to me!
Its a 20ga SxS, but I'm wondering if anyone has any info on it...
On the left barrel "RU-KO OF CANADA LTD."
On the right barrel "pioneer (only one quotation mark)
The chamber size and caliber are printed on the receiver of the firearm under the barrels, as well as on the underside of the barrels, all of which reads 20-76. (in a diamond) Farther up the on the left barrel there is what I assume is a serial number printed as well as 3" MAG. both barrels have choke printed on them one appears to be stamped with an M.O. or M.G. Under "choke" on the right barrel are the numbers 15.3 on top of 15.7 (im assuming mm) and on the left 15 on top of 15.7 so it seems to me that on barrel is full choke and the other modified (by the dimensions on the barrel.
The gun is rather hard to break open and close again after the triggers are pulled...
The receiver is decorated with a scene depicting game birds.
All in all its a beautiful gun but its definitely seen a fair bit of use, judging by the dings in the stock and the worn out recoil pad.
Pics to come
Does anyone have any info confirming the choke dimensions? any info on the gun? thanks.
