How's everyone been doing hunting grouse in Sandilands, Aggasiz, North Star and Mar Forest areas.....north of Milner Ridge has been good for me. Seems like they're taking out a lot of forest and making more gravel pits or is it just my imagination?????:sniper:
 
I'm still looking for some. I haven't hunted them in a while, and am supposed to take my wife out for her first hunt this week. Hopefully we can stumble across some good spots.

Any suggestions?

Saw a couple in the Mar Forest but as mentioned it's still too thick although when at my bearstand today the leaves were falling pretty good in the wind. Been out a lot in Aggasiz (south) but haven't seen anything. Same thing, my wife wants to go out shooting with me:bigHug:

Now your in my neck of the woods!! the only problem with Milner Ridge area is that EVERYONE goes there. Its so hard to get chickens for the past few yrs, seems like its getting hunted out.

I tend to try and find places that most people wont go or look at....or at least small amounts of people go. Got 7 tonight!!!
 
Thank goodness for me! I live north of the 53 and there's plenty of chickens to go around. It's a much different, read easier game up here.
