Hey fellas had a quick scoot through the Ruger 1 303 thread but thought i would just make a new one as it only takes up interweb spaces..
So about to Develop a load for the 303 with the 174GR PPSN, they look so muh more like Deer bullets than those 215s....
I originally thought they would be much shorter but it appears there is not alot in length difference of the two, 1.098 V 1.235 to be specific..
Whats the general gist with these Long throated Ruger 303s and the shorter? 174GR Projie?
i must be somewhere around the 215s Base being in the base of the Neck of the case... Would this be a Start for the 174?
now what about powder charges for Varget?
currently got 38gr of Varget with 215gr projie.
again i dont wanna stuff around, mediocre accuracy is fine, would like to hear experience an opinions please!
