The chamber is longer than spec so larger volume than normal. I’m at least the 3rd owner. Loaded up 235 Speer over 73gr of RL15. Mid range for 375H&H, starting load for 375 Weatherby, which is seems to get similar velocity as my #1 loaded hot. I seated the 235 Speer a bit long to have a 10-15 thou jump. 5 of 8 fired cases had significant dents or “dishes” right below the shoulder along with some sooting in the same area. Haven’t chronoed this load yet. I’ve got a pic i can send if someone would like to post it. The 3 rnd group at 100M was 1.6”, half the size this rifle usually shoots, although I just floated the fore end. My guess is pressure is to low to seal the neck to the chamber. The necks of the fired brass do not easily accept the bullets I just tried to insert by hand in the brass. I’ll move the pressure up in the future, just curious who else has run across this brass “dishing”.
