Just took delivery od one. Best I've seen on any #1, I think. Will not be listed on site, willbring to calgary gunshow, will list after thsat if it doesn't sell. 1899.00

Prophet River, please let me know if you have any help for me. I would love if there was a synthetic stock available for using while hunting to keep the nice walnut for off season display. I hate getting my walnut in the mud and sleet on my Ruger no 1A. It is my favorite gun by far. Outstanding balance, nice and thin to carry, easy to clean. Shoots great with a nice trigger break.

Mcmillan used to list one, IIRC. Their site isnt working for me right now to check. Of course, ruger made them in laminate so one could use that in rough conditions.
