So I have an opportunity to pick up a #1 in .416 Remington Magnum. The gun is a couple years old , essentially new with no more than one box of shells through it. The guy who bought it new took it to africa where aparrently it didnt see any action, so hes selling it. I have the opportunity to buy it for $1050, and that includes 2 boxes of 400 gr hornady dgx (wholesale sports lists them in their catalog at $71 per box)
The gun literally looks brand new, and still has the original box and papers. I played with it for about ten minutes yesterday and couldn't find a ding or a scratch anywhere. So would this be a good price for the gun? After you take the price of the shells off i'm really only paying 900 for the rifle.
