I'm looking at replacing the barrel on my 10/22 and I'm curious what kind of accuracy the Dlask barrels are putting out. I know the KIDD, Shilen, and Green Mountain barrels are very accurate but can't find videos on YouTube showing the accuracy of the Dlask barrel. Any other barrels for the 10/22 I should have a look at? For accuracy I don't want no TacSol barrel that's lightweight and patterns like a shotgun.

I have a Ruger Precision 20 inch hammer forged barrel up for sale. It’s an absolute laser, let me know and we can see what you think. Cheers

Nothing against Dlask whatsoever. I’ve owned many in all lengths. If I was to buy a barrel for a 10/22 now which isn’t in my focus the only person I’d be talking to is Jerry at Mystic Precision. If you want to see what a 10/22 is capable of talk to him. Search his results or just have a phone call with him. Friendly guy that saved me a ton of time and he’s not about the sale. He just loves sharing his knowledge in the rifle game.

I had a Dlask 12.5" (If I remember correctly) tapered barrel on my 10/22. It was more for a tacticool gun, and had a sporter chamber. It never produced good groups, even with a quality optic. It was always kind of disappointing, even with a variety of good ammo like Elley, SK, RWS, etc. I paid $210 back in 2019. I later sold it off.

I've since built another tacticool 10/22 with a 12" McGowen barrel from Jerry at Mystic Precision. This barrel is AMAZING. It's high quality and produces tight groups, for my application. I paid $401 in 2021. I'd recommend Jerry @ Mystic Precision and McGowen barrels.

DLASK barrels are good, I have two of them, although they are very, VERY picky with ammo. Tightest I could pattern them with match ammo was like 2.5 moa (100 yards). Mine are both plinkers, so accuracy was never a concern.

I just buy bulk CCI Blazer grey box stuff and it is accurate enough for me to ping steel gongs and pop cans at 50-60 yards (out of a 12.5" barrel). If you are getting a barrel for a shorty, you'll be fine. If you are trying to build a proper precision rifle, spend the time to test different types of ammo, and then stock up on it. Alternatively you can have IBI make you a barrel, or get a CZ 457 instead.

I've had several of the 16" dlask carbon barrels and they all shot nicely.

Tacsol, IBI, volquartsen I've tried as well among others. Still have a voquartsen TD carbon that is real nice. The IBI are nice as well.

Would not hesitate to run another Dlask and regret selling the few I've put together. Basically thinned my heard of 10/22's to get a nice anschutz fortner action, but that is another story.
