I recently purchased a Boyds thumbhole stock for 10/22 heavy barrel. Had a project planned but have limited funds right now so was wondering if I could put it in a 10/22 standard barrel in the mean time.
I have a medium heavy barrel in a Boyds heavy barrel stock. It'll work fine if you don't mind the extra gap. No question about the barrel being free floating.
