I did a search but didn't find a thing.
Does anyone know have any tips for me, i have been trying to get the front sight on my Ruger 10/22 to come of but no luck so far.
Here is what i have tried.
I lubricated the sight and let it sit for an hour then i used a brass bunch and hammer to drift the sight from the left to the right. I gave it many big whacks and it did not move at all.
Is there anything else i should be doing to get this thing to move?
would WD40 work better than lube?
is WD40 safe for the finish?
thanks
Edit: 4 hours of letting the lube soak in and 43 whacks later it finally came out, that sucker was really in there.
