Ruger 10/22 scope recommendations

I'm looking for some ideas for the most versatile optics for my Ruger 10/22, I'd take it to hunting/plinking.

It must be built tough, low maintenance that will last a long time.

I really enjoy mine with the leupold VX Freedom 4-12x40. Light, has great glass, and you can opt to get it with the cds dial to go out easier. I prefer the trimoa reticle as well. The alum caps are the "cats meow" as well, if you can muster the cost of those.

I have a 4-12AO vx3 fine duplex on my 10-22. It’s a great set up IMO

No budget ?

I had a nightforce 2.5-10x24 for a while on mine, ended up with a 2-7x33 leupold rimfire, much lighter.

Granted mine's a 12" barrel super compact so weight was an important factor in my decision, yours may be different, and a little more magnification would be nice sometimes
