Ruger 10/22 see through scope rail

I believe hical has one made by ncstar but it appears to be out of stock.

Not sure why they call it "see through"?
It's a basic picatinny rail! As soon as you put a set of rings on it for your scope (and that IS why you put the rail on a rifle!?)....it's not longer "see through".

I know what your saying, but I think it's more so you can remove an optic and still use the irons. Otherwise the factory base is in the way.

The utg one will work well in my use as I plan to put it on my take down and put quick detach rings on my scope so it all packs together in the bag nicely, and can leave the scope off when it's not needed.

We have more on the way, they raise the scope up so you can use the iron sights or scope.

I have a set of see through sights made for the 10-22. Just screw on. Will have to look & see what make. I think they are $20. PM me if you want me to dig them out. AJ

I just ordered the utg rail and a pair of quick detach rings... will post results once i get them.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to be able to use the open sights as well as mount a scope sometimes. I orderd the UTG mount from Amazon, it was $11 shipped to my door. I had to open up the sight groove to a depth of .160" so I could use the open sight with it mounted but that only took 1/2 hour with a 5/16" round file. Not the best pictures but it's the best I could do with my phone.

I only had to remove about .030". It was already grooved down the center, just not quite deep enough.

On the issue of the see through rail, does anyone know where i might get something like this over the weekend in Calgary? If not i'll just order online and wait the 2 weeks to get it.
