I'm guessing no, Ruger's site states a natural finish hardwood with black checkering.

Birch maybe? Sure looks like maple!

Apparently MSRP is all over the map. LOL

Some gun-shops mark up 50% or more, others 15%-30%, either way these rifles are absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend everyone get one.
