Ruger 10/22 stainless or not?

I have had a few of both. Sold them and moved on to a quality bolt action. I prefer accuracy over firepower.

Happens to me and I'm not exactly new here, more like midrange. And yes as Skid Dog says, if you have a shiny outdoors item, always have some camo tape around in case that becomes a liability. A wris####ch is a lot more of a problem that way than most realise, I could signal an aircraft with mine.
