Has anyone who's purchased one noted this manufacturing defect??? Heres's a link to another thread that had a little snippet of people who noticed this...

Yep, mine is crooked. I shot it and it works fine. I just hope Ruger isn't slipping by trying to keep up with demand for their stuff.

Ruger is behind on a lot of guns as far as keeping up to demand and I'm sure the take down will be a good seller......I was a bit surprised to see so many coming into Canada so soon.
Hopefully they didn't send these as "seconds".

I just did a quick google search and I couldn't find any other mention of crooked sight dove tails other then here.
It's so obvious I'm sure the Americans would have commented on it if they were all like this.....

Funniest thing I read all week.

HINT: A true fudd doesn't typically shoot (and express platonic love for) Glocks, S&W M&Ps, AR-15s, Beretta CX4 Storms, etc., etc. When was the last time you shot a pistol at a 100 (200?) yard gong? I suggest you watch some more Hickok45 vids. Might learn something ;)

Oh come now, it was a joke, I know fudds don't shoot 10/22's unless they have wooden stocks and 10 round mags

EDIT: I used to shoot 100 and 200 yard gongs with my S&W revolver in .357 and I get that it's not the same as using a glock or other semi-auto handgun. At 200 yards you could hit the thing about 25% of the time which I thought was pretty good, but at 100 yards it was more like 75%

I fully plan on purchasing the 10/22 TD, but i'm gonna hold off for a bit till I hear what Ruger's response is on this issue, and wait for the rush to peak... I want one, but have lots of other toys to play with till i add the TD to my collection.. So here's one less competitor in the marketplace for the time being... :)

I feel exactly the same way. I want one, I plan on buying one, but I can wait. I'll probably buy from Frontier because I find myself buying a lot from them lately and having none of the issues I typically have when buying from other vendors

What exactly IS a Fudd? I assume it is some reference to Elmer, but I've seen it used to describe anti's sometimes around here....
