Tried searching but maybe not enough.
Looking for some help. I aquired a ruger 10/22 takedown in .22 magnum (the older style that breaka open like a break actiok shotgun to remove the barrel). Noticed the barrel was loise and the stock wasnt lined up. Tried to open it was very hard to break open and noticed the metal piece that secures the barrel is bent broken off and jammed under the barrel. The whole mechanism that holds the fore of the stock is bent. Im having trouble finding any info on the older style take downs and parts. Can someone point me in the right direction in finding parts for this model or if i should just replace the stock completely with an aftermarket one?
