Ruger 10/22 upgrades

I was watching sighting in USA when there was a project that caught my attention.

I have a 10/22 stainless laminate and i was thinking about doing the upgrades to improve my accuracy and add the coolness factor. How hard are these parts to come by ( barrel and stock) and what are you opinions or what would you do different?

Stock you can order from the states.

Barrel good luck finding that in Canada. Search the rimfire section for 1022 barrels and you should get a list of sellers. Aftermarket bull barrels are hard to get in Canada so that might be tricky.

and you can't yet get that axiom stock in canada yet for some reason. your best bet is to get a green mountain barrel(they're just as accurate as any match grade barrel) and cheaper than the shooters ridge, call bits of pieces in BC.
i was at the bass pro place just North of Calgary and they carry a shooter's ridge barrel/stock combo, WSS also carries butler creek barrels/stocks. the barrels are made by green mountain so they are very accurate but a bit more expensive for some reason.

What are the main differences between the shooters ridge, green mountain and butler creek barrels?

Green mountain always shoot good (when you are using good ammo and doing your part)
Butler Creek owners seem to be the luck of the draw (some will shoot, some are barely OK)
