but i need to remove the base and sight first..
anyone can help?????????

If it's a flash hider....you can get one that just slips around the front sight...either that or you can have your barrel cut down and then install it...provided I am correct in my assumption

Mine is like this

The site came out but the base is part of the barrel. I got mine at rimfiresports.com More looks than function but I like it.

You do know there is a set screw on the bottom of the FH?, if it's in even a little it won't go on. Back it out all the way and try again, if not Follow Guns advice and send it back. If it fits, I might suggest one more step.

As your's is black it should be easy.

Where the set screw marks the finish under the muzzle I drilled a shallow hole in the bottom so the set screw rebates into it. I don't recall the exact size but just measure the screw O/D. It makes it a little more secure and also allows the set screw to be flush with the FH, previously it stuck out by a couple of threads and was a pain, always catching on the soft case and cleaning rags and such!!!

Is that a flashider for a 10/22? The way it has the little rounded notches suggests it might not be for this rifle.

No. there isn't have screw on the bottom of the FH.
i brought from Gun Show. the guy told me is for ruger 10/22.
they said i just need to slip in on the barrel. or use a little force and hammer it down a bit. but i can't . the base block it . i don't want to damage the base or barrel.
