I have the 10" Ruger and an interested party who wants to buy it. It seems that it's a fairly rare beast so I'm questioning selling it. Personally it's not 'special' to me so I don't think I'd be sad if it were gone, but given it's uncommon nature I might be better of to leave it in the safe.

Does anybody know what one would be worth these days (about an 8-9 out of 10)?

FWIW, i think i saw a blued one on the EE sell for around $500 a couple of weeks ago. being that yours is SS, probably worth a bit more.

on a side note how cool would it have been if was an integral silenced barrel instead;) we could only wish.

Money to buy more (Fill in the blank) or a .22 safe queen? I love .22's but I shoot them. If you don't shoot it then sell it. It's not rare enough to collect or demand a high dollar value (ie. Luger) so don't expect much.

I was thinking around $450 for SS, hey what do I know .

It's certainly not a safe queen, not only do I really enjoy shooting it, I've used it to bring many new shooters to the sport. If I were to sell it, I would certainly replace it with another .22 pistol, most likely a Mark III :)

In that case, KEEP IT! (Or give it to me :ninja:). Personally, I wouldn't replace something that reliable and accurate with a current production version.

If it ain't broke...

I would say its worth anout 600-650.

If it was me I would sell for something else. Ask yourself this, how much do you use it? If you bought something else, would you use it more?

I use it quite a bit, and if I get another .22 handgun I'm sure I'd shoot it just as much. Like Farva said, 'for the right price'. I think I'm going to look at it like this; I have lots of guns, long guns, short guns, some I 'love' and wouldn't part with, this is not one of them. It's a great firearm, loads of fun to shoot, and as they say, a real tack driver (groan). But I think someone else could appreciate her more. If the deal is right, I'll sell it, if not, I'll keep it, looks like win-win to me.

Thanks all
