I am in the process of installing a Volquartsen trigger kit which includes Volquartsen Hammer Shims, Hammer Spring, Trigger Return Spring and a set of Hammer Bushings. I am nearly done installation but am now stuck as I can't pull back the hammer. The hammer strut bar and spring are supposed to fit it quite easily and the hammer should be able to be pulled back easily. However, when I try to pull back the hammer, I encounter a lot of resistance from the hammer hitting the hammer strut bar and spring. I do not know why this isn't working. Please help!
