Ruger 1022 with AR15 Carry Handle / Front Sight Post

Would there be any issues with trying to install any of these on my 10/22 with a Charger Barrel? I'm thinking the stock AR15 barrel is 0.75 and the Charger Barrel tapers down to 0.60 so i should be able to add some beef on it somehow to be able to clamp one of these down. Not only that but i'm wondering if i can get a decent sight picture with one of these and a stock ruger top rail and AR carry handle. Anyone try this before?

You'd be shooting way to high. The front site post would sit to low compared to the rear site. If you were to get a rail mounted on the front site would sit on a level plane as the rear.

Or you can also spend the extra cash on a higher gas block which may provide a better sight sight line.
