Ruger 1911 10 round mags - can I use any 10 rounders

hey all,

Can I use any 10 round 1911 mag in my Ruger SR? any help would be great.

Also - where is the best/cheapest place to buy?

You should be able to use any 1911 mags.

My personal preference for 10 rounder mags are Tripp Cobra mags. You can order them directly from the company in the US. They have a website. Also, there is a site sponsor Northern Republic Magazines carries them.

Just remember that not all 1911 mags are created equal, some are of good quality and will function well, others are complete POS's.

I use any 10 rounder's in mine but I can buy the factory ones for less then $30 so I have a half dozen of them
