The point is they are not.

Maybe they are machined from the same bar stock.

Nothing to say they go out the factory door installed on the same pistola, eh?

I've noticed my Ruger doesn't rattle when I'am shooting it, love the long trigger with the short reset, and the Novak sights, are just wow,have to get some for my norc now.

I used to collect Savage 99's--at one time had quite a few. Refers to the fact that Savage made a lot of factory variations that never were documented in the catalogs--for some of the pre-ww II rifles you could get the details from the Factory order book through the company historian. Sorry to hijack--back to the entertainment!
