Ruger #1H in 405 Winchester

Every now and then a Canadian Tire store hires a sporting goods manager with a brain. The store on Isabel in Winnipeg used to have a good gun shop, and took trades etc, but I don't know if that's still the case or not. Maybe it's the same guy in Kenora?? The store in Kenora advertises in the Access.

Probably NOT the same guy. This fellow is a retired CO. And a certifiable looney when it comes to things that go "bang!" Got a selection of some pretty high end stuff on board as well. We need somewhere like that in NW Ontario. Otherwise we have to travel to get our supplies or pay HUGE shipping fees for dangerous goods.

Most of the local shops are getting out of shooting supplies. Must be the liberal/ndp mindset that guns are bad.

Here's a great little Canadian company that makes cast bullets. At present the only .411 bullets they show is 215 gr pistol bullets which would be great plinkers in the 405 winchester. They add new product all the time - I wouldn't be surprised if you see more appropriate .411 rifle bullets in the future..
