Is there any collectability equity in a ruger 10/22LR that is marked the 200th year edition? Just curious about that. Either way, what is the market value of an excellent conditioned one.
It just means that it was built in 1976. Pretty well all rugers had it that year, and it makes very little difference in value.
I suppose it could be collectable to an extent, if you wanted to gather a complete catalogue selection of 1976 Rugers. I would suspect that the collection would only be worth marginally more than the sum of the individual values. Otherwise it's valued just the same as any other period example.
Now if you were asking about a fingergroove sporter...
For us canucks the collectabililty of a US anniversary model is marginal, on the other hand, a 76 model should be a walnut stock whether or not it is a carbine or DSP=desirable. It may also have a steel buttplate, check that. A 76 model should easily bring $300, maybe considerbly more depending on options and condition. Later.
