Ruger 22/45 Picatinny Rail Fit With The Rear Sight?

Does the Ruger pic rail interfere with the standard adjustable rear sight on a Mk.3 22/45 or not?

I'm not too concerned about it, but I will also remove the front sight if the rear has to come off for the rail.

From pictures Ive seen, no.

I know the OEM weaver base I had on mine didn't.
