Ruger 22/45 vs Ruger Mark III

I am looking to buy one of those and i am wondering why the Ruger 22/45 is cheaper by a 100$ to the mark III. What would be the best choice? Thanks

if your gonna shoot 1911s as well..the 22-45 has the same grip angle as the 1911..so it makes a sort of cheap trainer. ALso the 22-45 has a polymer grip and lower. I like the 22-45 in stainless myself.

The new 22/45 look so cute and has a better Mag release. $100 can buy a lot of ammo. I think the Mark III still use a grip heel mag release?

Also, the MKIII 22/45's are WAAAY slimmer than the MK II 22/45's.
