Has anyone reworked the trigger on the .44 Carbine? I hear it can be tricky. Nice little fun rifle but I HATE the trigger creep. Thanks.

I have owned one for years, and have never attempted to play with the trigger. Being a Ruger, and a semi it is set up to be functionally safe for all concerned especially Ruger. They have this paranoia about being sued.
I understand your pain, the trigger pull on mine is brutal as well, but it is a hunting rifle not a target rifle. When I am shooting at game with any rifle there are two things I never notice, the trigger pull and the recoil. Not to say they not important to accuracy. I just personally never notice it in the heat of moment. My suggestion would be to live with it.

Ruger got sued long ago. One of the frivolous U.S. laws suits like the idiot who sued McPuke's over split coffee and won. Even winning costs money.
Which model do you have?
You can't even buy a new trigger from Ruger. One if the many parts they insist installing themselves. That's a liability CYA thing.
You could try a new trigger spring. Have to come from somebody other than Wolff Springs though.
