Ruger 57!

The trigger is not the best, but I don’t mind.

As for brass, I chose not to reload this calibre, the casings have a coating that means no SS tumbling, and apparently it’s easier to cause overcharged loads, from what I’ve read. I have collected what I could though to possibly sell to those who do reload.

Hoping to get it to the range today to try the red dot.

Thanks Paul, I use the same SS tumbling method, it's too bad about the case coating. Just shoot and have fun I guess......:)

Cheers.

Thanks I'm in that transfer waiting game for mine

Had it to the range today- took me forever to zero the Vortex Viper- not sure why.

When I got it zero’d it was a blast to shoot, light recoil and accurate enough for my needs. The trigger definitely affects accuracy though. Frankly, it stinks. I’m not sure if any aftermarket ones are out yet but this might be one of the first times I replace one.

As these trickle into the country maybe someone will know... are any companies making aftermarket trigger upgrades for these? It’s the only flaw I can see and it’s a pretty darn annoying one!
