Ruger 77/22 .22 hornet

I have one of the heavy barrel stainless laminated ones that shoots under an inch for five shots. I have two groups right here of .798" and .716"...but the average is closer to 7/8". It took a bit of work to get it there however....the guy who owned it before I bought it did all the work:) ....I just did the trigger:D..he glass bedded the front lug area and then freefloated the barrel and ended up putting a small pressure pad in the fore-end...seems it shot better that way....I saw the targets and didn't argue;) It's a gopher killing machine out to about 150 yards....low on noise and with non-existent recoil I can see the hits thru the 6-24X Elite 4000.....load is a 40 gr VMax pushed by 13 grs of Hodgdon Lil Gun. I can't wait for gopher season..:D

I've got a "stock" 77/22 Hornet with the 20" sporter weight barrel. Nothing done other then a Lightened up trigger. Easily shoots 1" groups at a 100 with Handloads
(I'm also using 13 grains of Lilgun with 35 and 40 grain V-max bullets)
