Ruger 77 22 in 22 HNT in Stock

22 hornet is very interesting round I’ve never shot before, but really, isn’t .223 the same price to shoot? Enlighten me!?

22 Hornet is an amazing round, if you reload it's fairly cheap to shoot. With a Hornady 35 grain V-max bullet and 12 grains of Win 296 or Lil'gun it will be the most fun you can have with your clothes on!......:)

I own a 22 Hornet and a K-Hornet, they are so much fun, extremely accurate and annihilates gophers. The round is user friendly in urban areas with less noise and less chance of a ricochet with the V-max bullet.

The 22 Hornet has held it's own largely to Lysle Kilbourn's introduction of the K-Hornet wildcats. It seems to be making a come back and has become very popular, at least for me anyway!.....:)

I had one of these Rugers and humanely dispatched thousands of gophers with it. It was deadly accurate. The hornet has the energy to spin a gopher 6 feet in the air or cleanly split them in half using under 10 grains of powder. It is far superior to the .22 magnum while being cheaper for the handloader. The biggest advantage is the quiet report for use on smaller pieces of land.
