Ruger 77 clip

Due to pressure from the Canadian hunting market Ruger is considering building some detachable magazine rifles in the near future. I didn't think this would ever happen but we didn't think they would do any of their revolvers with a 4.2" either. Might be a while but the word from Ruger is they are considering it.

I think I once saw a write up by a guy that modified his short action 77 in 308 or 358 to use some kind of military mags. My brain can't retrieve much more than that for now. If I remember more I'll add the details.

Anything you can remember would be appreciated.
I think a clip gun can be handy for day hunts from the truck or quad, easier and faster loading. And I like a good project...the more unique the better.

As far as firearm manufacturers are concerned the Canadian market is such a small percentage of there sales they really don't give us much thought when it comes to rifle design or industry needs
