Hi All,

Last night I ordered through Irunguns my Ruger model 8335 in .22 magnum. It's like an American Rifle compact wearing a different color, comming without sights with a picatinny rail, a biger bolt action ball, a treaded barrel for a "silencer" and a 18" slightly bigger barrel if I read right. That barrel would sit between a regular barrel and heavy one...

Of course, I'm anxious to see it arrive at my door when ever that is. This little gun with a proper (to be identified) scope, bought new or preferably used, shall be a very nice Christmas gift from myself to I !

I chose that gun through Irunguns because apparently compact RAR are not available for sale in Canada... Then on, why not go for the ###iest ?

I feel lucky that Irunguns USA has this gun in stock or that they even offert it. I wouldn't have bought it if I had to pay $ 200. or more in broker fees... As it is I'm paying the gun + $ 25. delivery in US $ then I'll expect to pay GST and shipping to me. I will even save Quebec's sale taxe...

Any body wants a 9422M ?

Thanks,

Dominik

I received an Email from Irunguns requesting that I pay GST and shipping to Montreal.
Of course, I immediately paid ! It doesn't mean that it will arrive at my door tomorrow morning but it does mean that sometime, before christmas, it will indeed arrive !

All in all, my Ruger American Rifle 8335 "Predator" in .22 wmr that is NOT (yet?) available in Canada will have cost me $ 68. more than if I had bought a regular RAR locally...

Trying to select a good scope to buy, I'm reading all I can about scopes from Nikon, Leupold and likes...

I can already see myself calling coyotes in my dense woods !

Well mine will reach my hands at around $ 480. cdn all fees and taxes in.
Not exactly cheap for what is said to be a very good but "cheap" rimfire...

But I really wanted one and for sure, I will put it to good use !

That it is now available in Canada is a very good thing as many more people will get this handy tool in their hands !
