Ruger American 556, whos got the cheapest

I've seen 556 versions for 7-800. Mainly on FOC and Tenda (out of stock last time I checked). Cabelas had the 450 bushmaster version for $650-7ish. I've been looking too but no luck so far, since demand is probably crazy high after the OIC. Same with the Mossberg MVP Patrol, which also takes AR mags but comes with irons too.
I just ordered a Ruger American in 6.5 gren in a predator 22" barrel vs 16.?? for cheaper than I could find a short barreled Ranch from shops in Canada. I dont mind supporting my local shops but when its 100$ I realize I like my money. Not saying I'll start ordering norinco stuff all the time but I do try to get the best bang for my bucks. FYI

Beware that nearly all of the "cheap" ones are the ones with the 5 round rotary magazine. If you want the Ruger American Ranch 5.56 with AR magazine, make sure you get Ruger part No. 26965. A lot of dealers are trying to off load their old stock.
In January from Wolverine before the buying frenzy started. I also got the rotary magazine version for $450 used on EE. Both are very handy little rifle. I prefer the rotary mag/flush fit to walk around the bush and plink and the AR mag one for accurate plinking at the pit or range.
