Heee hee heee !!! I actually just came up with that !!!! Has anybody here done any hot-rodding to their American rifle yet, like paint jobs, new barrel, different stock type thing É
I got mine stricktly for dusting yotes and wolves, its a .243 Win and I will be doing it up in the coming month when I am not working or hunting . Of course I will be putting up pics as a before and after with mid-work pics as well.

GO TIME !!!!!

And all you Ruger American Haters, well, maybe you can start your own association, just not here , mmmmm k É
Apparently my puter has a case of the frenchies, sorry bout that !!

Just trigger work, removed that little trigger release and changed the spring and honed the sear and now can adjust to 2.5 lbs.
Did that on 3 Americans so far and they are nice to fire without all the creaky noise of the trigger release.

Looking for a 308 compact to play with now.
Does anybody know if someone makes replacement barrels for the center-fire's. I would like to have a 338 or 358 compact.

David

Hi Cole. Going to join your association with a Ruger American Predator in .308.
Nice short barrel and green stock. Can't decide on wether to put a 1.5-5x20, 2-7x33, or 3-9x40. Probably end up with a 2-7x33.

Here is mine so far. Its a .243. I put a Vortex Crossfire2 BDC in Burris posi-line rings on it and I got the free cheek riser/storage pouch a couple of weeks ago. Shoots 1/2" groups with Hornady 100gr Interlocks and a max dose of IMR 4350. I added the bipod today and am going to see if P.O.I. changes with it on.
