Just picked up my first rifle. RAP 6.5 cm as it was a great sale on it. Wondering what stock options are out there for this?

Yup MDT or Oryx offers chassis systems for your rifle! Great way to go, the 5.56 version will fit, but you will be hard-pressed to find the correct magazines right now. 6.5 Creedmoor will run out of any 308 Winchester magazine.

My second gun was an american .308, the long barrelled one. Very slick action but at the time the light weight made the .308 less than pleasant for me to shoot for longer periods so I sold it. But I still say they are sweet little rifles. I just got a 783 16.5" in .223 but I was strongly considering the American 5.56. If I had found a stanag mag version for a good price I would have jumped on it.

The boyds pro varmint is nice too if you want more traditional.
