Ruger American Ranch Model 26965

I just ordered one from irunguns.com. Couldn't find one in stock anywhere in Canada.

I don't think Canadian dealers can get them because they ship with a un-pinned 10 round AR mag (could be wrong though). Irunguns pins the mags when they import them.

You will occasionally see them pop up in stock on other retailer sites, but they disappear fast when they do. IRG is the only place I have consistently seen them available.
 
Devoid in canada for sure. I was hunting for one for a good long while, ended up making a deal on a mossberg MVP patrol in 5.56 instead. A fair jag cheaper than bringing in a Ruger Ranch through IRG. Seems to be not a bad little rifle, iron sights, pic rail for optic, QD for swivel in a black synthetic stock. Still AR mag compatible. Not sure if I'll keep it yet but it was worth grabbing to scratch the itch. I'm downsizing right now but it was worth adding into the mix.
 
I don't think IRG's price is too out of line. They're currently listed for $450.70USD + $25USD import fee + GST + Canadian shipping to you. Total cost should be right around $700 all in. Canadian dealers have rotary mag versions listed for $600-650 + tax (and shipping if required), so almost the same price.
 
The Mossberg is prob a good option too if you want to run AR mags. I saw somewhere that Remington is releasing a 783 HB that takes AR mags - would be another good option, but who knows what their ETA will be.

**UPDATE**

Got my ranch rifle right before Christmas, I can say that the stock is more ridged than older ones, I've taken it out shooting a few times and shoots about 2 moa with bulk federal 55g fmj.

I will be fitting a cheek riser for it as my cheek weld is too low, feels like the stock was designed for iron sights.

Just bought one with the rotary mag..Love it. Getting out to the range soon just waiting on my scope a Nikon prostaff 3-9x50.. Looking forward to setting it up and shooting.
 
Find a deal on a 223 700ADL, drop it in a Magpul stock, use MDT mags.
Haven't heard of too many of these AR mag bolt guns working very well, feeding issues seems to be very common.
The American is a brutally cheaply made rifle, stock is equivalent to a Savage Axis, bedding method is terrible, tool marks on the metal look like Norinco made them, plus the zipper sounds from working the bolt due to the tool marks just seals the deal.
I got 2 when they were stupid cheap...$350 range. Sent the first one back, bolt face was pitted from proofing. 2nd one was no better, sold it after putting 10 rounds through it. An Axis is a better made rifle by far, which is just sad.

i use to have the Predator Model with the rotary mag and i loved it, gun was a laser beam for accuracy.
but when they came out with the detachable magazine one i just had to upgrade.
so i picked one up.
LOVE IT!

i was in the same boat as you, could not find anyone who stocked them and when they are in stock they sell out instantly.
i ended up ordering mine from irungunz and had no issues, got in a month later and have been happy ever since.

i have seen them at canadian places from time to time but like i said they sell out instantly.
