I like the Ranch version, don't have one, been keeping an eye open for one in 308.
Been using the All Weather Compact version (308) for a few years now, must say that other regular and high end, light weights, and custom rifles get left behind 99% of time these past few years, this little RAR is the go to since I picked it up, even picked up a Kimber Hunter in the same caliber this year and it sits because the RAR is still the go to, mainly because I like how short it is.
Precise and accurate, it is. So far just factory 150's and 165's of a few different kinds. Doesn't seem to matter what goes in the chamber, old grey box Federal, blue box Federal, Gold Match Federal, it prints 1" or better every time.
As mentioned before, not worried about this rifle at all, it will take a lickin and keep on tickin.
I've been running a Redfield Revolution 3-9X40 accu-range with just Leupold rifleman rings and the factory supplied bases, hasn't lost zero since I sighted in, and it gets packed around and transported (in a soft case) a lot, the odd excited gun dog standing on it (duh), gets moved all around in the crummy by colleges. Still looks great also, holds up very well.
Heck I've been loosely pondering trading my M77 30.06 for same in a RAR AW.
