So Ruger has a backlog of over 2 million now, and is scrambling to meet demand with supply. I came face to face with this as I searched for a Blackhawk 357/9mm convertible this past few weeks. Some places show stock but don't have any in reality, some take orders but then put you on the waiting list (could be six months) and some just tell it like it is and say "who knows when we'll get some in". This likely has more to do with the south of the border, but it's nice to know that the shooting sports are alive and well in Canada to some degree too.
Anyway - if you see one in your local shop; or you're a vendor and have stock drop me a line. Looking for the 6 1/2 barrel - blued is fine. I think the stainless model is nearly mythical.
Can't complain. I scored a CZ 75 SP01 earlier this Spring and their supply situation is just the same.
