Ruger bolt reliability with hi caps?

I have several hi cap mags for my ruger 10/22. BC steel lips, AA922 promags, champions. They (including the BC) are fairly unreliable in the 10/22 for me. Does anyone have experience with the Ruger 77 or American rifle with these hi cap mags? As to their reliability in them. In short are they reliable in these bolts or at least more reliable then they would be in an 10/22?
