Brownells ..$79
when they initially came out the response from the people who picked them up was highly underwhelming.
i wonder if their canadian warranty place might carry them?
might be worth looking into they seem to carry a lot of the stuff from the ruger store.
I had totally forgot about these till now.
By the description they sound good. I'll wait to see what others have to say before shelling out.
I have one (not installed yet). Feels like about 2 lb trigger weight and breaks nice and crisp . Don't seem to have any over travel at all. Trigger breaks and resets almost instantly. I don't know if that will change, after I install it. It cost me around $120 ish ,to my door and that would be a better deal than sending a stock trigger away , for the same effect. You could sell the stock trigger for $60 and get the new one for $70 , out of pocket.plenty of reviews on YT and elsewhere online. its the same quality and functionality as if you did a trigger job on a normal factory trigger pack. one huge advantage with these is that its just another full pack you slap on. no messing around with pins and springs. that being said any of the full custom trigger packs are much better (although for a much higher price as well). from what i have seen in reviews the trigger pull weight is down to about half of stock and its a much cleaner and consistent break. there is still quite a bit of take up and overtravel as well just like on the factory triggers and trigger jobs done on them.
yea the other trigger mods need to be worried. why would you spend the same price for a VQ trigger mod which will do the same thing, cost the same price, that you have to do the work yourself on, and that doesnt give you the stock trigger group back? sending away for the trigger jobs is sometimes less but after you factor in shipping its almost the same. i can see the price of stock trigger groups dropping like a rock though as people list theirs. its probably going to be more of an issue in the US than canada (since they are widely available there) though.I have one (not installed yet).
