what`s the deal with the ruger charger pistol. are they legal in Canada ?

They are legal, but classified as pistols. They are no longer made though.

made just long enough to screw up Ruger 25 round rimfire magazines.

looks like something you would grow tired of pretty quickly after buying it,

They are legal, RESTRICTED class. Buy one if you can find one. Goodluck.

I had one when they first came out.
Bought it, modded it, shot it, sold it.
The problems I found were:
It obviously couldn't be holstered
You needed a small duffel bag to carry it around
It got heavy fast (they are not a light pistol)
WAY too many people wanted to stop and talk about it or try shooting it. (yes....it got tiring fast)
