Are chargers available anywhere in Canada? I have never seen one for sale online anywhere. Probably wouldn't buy one anyway, they are kind of an odd thing, then of course the whole mag thing.
Not trying to stir the pot just wondering if they are available here.

There are still Chargers kicking around... they pop up on the EE from time to time. I had a Charger for a few years and shot it quite a bit, often side by side with my SBR 10/22 platform builds... but came to the conclusion that the SBR's covered the same ground and were unrestricted... sold the Charger off... all this Charger hate by 10/22 users is irrational, the Charger is not the enemy, our stupid RCMP and legislators are causing the problems, with baseless, nonsense regulations.

I have a Charger. Bought it for $200 new from a gun store that was clearing them out because they couldn't sell them.
Not a bad little toy.
I hardly ever use it and am thinking about listing it on the EE.

Shooter's Choice

i have the newer version one, just not the take down version, picked it up a couple years back.
ugly as heck and i think ive only had it out twice?
it was cheap and it was more of a novelty purchase.

I have a vague recollection of seeing one at a gun show, maybe thirty years ago. I think the gangbangers bought them all up and use them for shooting each other. At least that's what our fearless national police force wants the public to believe. It's only fair, don't you think? Gangbangers should not be allowed to have magazines with more than 10 rounds. Makes good sense...doesn't it.

Furthermore, the job of making up new gun laws must have been delegated to the mounted police. I am sure everyone has diligently plugged their Butler Creek 25 rounders.

There's nothing illegal about it.
Just like there was nothing illegal about running butler creek 25 rounders thru the Charger back in the day.

You mean just like it's still legal to use the 25 round Butler Creek mags. The law hasn't changed, just the RCMP opinion, and that is not the law no matter how much they want it to be.
