I think the RCM have even less chance of survival then the SAUM.
It is really accurate with the usual 338 variety of bullet weights and seems to be very close or slightly faster than my 338-06, but I have doubts about it being as fast as a 338 WM, which was the original boast regarding the 338 RCM.
Perhaps if one were to "push the envelope" it might, I don't know....
That is probably closer to the truth than you can imagine and its really too bad.
I bought a 338 RCM when they landed in Canada, dies and brass were not yet available.
However, thanks to a nomadic Tibetan Monk the problem was solved and I was loading for it, and it really is a fine little round.
