ruger gp 100 wood grip help

hey can someone tell me what if anything i did wrong... i cannot get my new eagle wood grips to fit snug on my gp 100. they just are a tad loose on the frame even though they are screwed in tight. ideas?

Hey man, did you figure it out? I would guess that you need to buy a grip panel locator. It's a cylindrical peice of metal that goes thru the large hole in the bottom of your GP's handle and holds things in place. I got one from Brownells a while ago but I dont know if it's in stock there. You could try ordering it from a place w/Ruger parts here in Canada. There's some gun store in Alberta and also Location Snap Shots inc. in Quebec.
