Just received another Ruger Gunsite Scout in matte black! These look fantastic. Ships with 2x 10rd Ruger branded polymer mags with dust covers, and 1" rings which interface with the proprietary mounts machined into the receiver (Note, this requires removal of the rear iron sight)

Brought this information down to the shipping guys, you should receive or have received shipping info this afternoon.
 
They are shipping these with a pair of polymer Ruger branded 10 rounders with snap-fit dust covers. They are still AICS pattern, like the metal one the older Scouts shipped with.
 
Got the rifle today, that black laminate stock looks and feels fantastic. Replaced OEM flashhider with a Surefire Warcomp+Warden combo for better recoil/noise management, also tried various MDT mags of different capacity/material and found them fit and function perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

do the scope rings fit on the pic rail or only the mount at the back (which would require removing rear sight)

That's right, the rear sight does need to go to use the included rings. Many of our customers are sticking to the long eye relief options, some have tried out red dot options as well (Also mounted forward on the pic rail).
