ruger guide gun sights

hey Q for the guys with the Ruger Guide guns, what do you think of the Factory rear Sight?

Does it fit into the Ring/base slot typical to rugers? or is it a bolt on piece?

Im lookin at an alternative for the Ruger #1 and figure I could proberly get a guide gun sight pretty easily?

I see it would sit further back than the Factory sight, which has always aided accuracy in my experience..

Has someone got a photo lookin down the barrel as you would if firing the gun?

Are you selling off your No.1-A .303 Brit? Before you do that for the Guide Gun, try the NECG peep on it... makes a big difference IMO.

no mate not selling!! just going to upgrade to a peep sight!!

NECG is #1 choice an would have to check for availability an pricing in aus.
was just thinkin I could buy a unused guide gun sight where a owner may have put on a scope or something, for a nice little price
