Ruger Hawkeye rings?

I just bought a brand new Hawkeye in .257 Roberts. It's walnut / blued. The included rings are stainless. Is this a mistake? Anyone else have this happen?
I e-mailed Ruger but their customer service can take 3 business days and the telephone service line is closed weekends. I'm assuming blued rings are still the norm. I'm not sure I want to mount a scope and shoot it if I'll be exchanging the rings.

Yeah thats phukdup. Make sure you get the right height from them when you swap. Sometimes they include high rings, which are useless with some scopes...

Thanks, Blargon. I re-read the Ruger website and in small print it says the supplied rings are to be "appropriate to the finish of the rifle."

Ya your rings should be blued...

Ask for low's when you get them replaced my wifes 243 came with mediums and they are to high for a 40mm objective Leupold...
