A buddy just picked up a new Hawkeye in 257 Roberts and has experienced the same old Ruger problems that seem to over shadow these beautiful little rifles. But with the barrel floated, and action bedded it seems to be shooting a little better. BUT the trigger is brutul, as bad or worse than the old MkII triggers. Now he changed his last trigger for a Timney and has been very pleased with its performance but Timney does not list a trigger for the new Hawkeye's. Would one assume that the same aftermarket trigger will fit this updated version of the MkII?
